I went to my doctor’s office today (for a physical, nothing major—gettin’ prescriptions for going abroad and shots and other fun stuff), and while she’s ordering my prescriptions, Dr. K looks at me and asks (deadpan), “Do you need more condoms?” (She has given me condoms EVERY SINGLE TIME I’ve gone to see her, and I’VE YET TO USE ONE.) I say no, and she gives me the Really? Are you realllllllly sure about that? look.
I say no again, and she kinda just looks at me, and so I say, “There is literally no possible way I’m going to get pregnant.”
And then she starts the whole, “The pill is only 95%…” talk, and I cut her off with, “I have a girlfriend.”
